New Leadership Appointments in Dollar Tree & Family Dollar Field Operations

In September 2023 Dollar Tree, Inc. announced three new leadership appointments to its Field Operations organization led by Chief Operating Officer Mike Creedon.

Jocelyn Konrad has joined the company as the new SVP, Chief of Stores for Family Dollar. She brings more than 15 years of experience in operational roles with Rite Aid, where she started as a pharmacy district manager in 2007 and was promoted to multiple operational roles before serving most recently as EVP and Chief Pharmacy Officer. Prior to Rite Aid, Jocelyn was with Eckerd Pharmacy and Thrift Drug – and most recently she’s been head of a consulting firm focused on process enhancement, strategy development and operational excellence in retail operations. Jocelyn holds a bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science in Philadelphia.

Jason Nordin has also joined the company as the new SVP, Chief of Stores for Dollar Tree. Jason was most recently Chief Operating Officer of Pilot Company, where he led 23,000 team members at the company’s 650+ travel centers and quick-serve restaurants across the U.S. and Canada. Prior to joining Pilot in 2011, he served as Whirlpool’s senior director of Global Strategic Planning in Benton Harbor, Michigan. Prior to Whirlpool, he held various positions in marketing, business development and operations at Tyco International and Abbott Laboratories. Jason earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, a master’s degree in engineering management and an MBA from Northwestern University.

10-year company veteran Pete Barnett has been named to an expanded role of SVP, Enterprise Operations. Having served in Operations leadership for both Dollar Tree and Family Dollar over the last 10 years, Pete was the right leader to succeed Steve Farrell, who most recently served in that capacity and has decided to retire after almost 28 years with the company.
