Family Dollar Recognizes Vendor Partners for Excellence

Clearwater Paper, Frito-Lay, Georgia-Pacific, Hanes, SC Johnson and Unilever among this year's honorees

Family Dollar announced its Vendor Partner of the Year award winners at a recent leadership event in Norfolk, Va. Clearwater Paper, Frito-Lay, Georgia-Pacific, Hanes, SC Johnson and Unilever were selected for their excellence in driving value for Family Dollar shoppers.

Clearwater Paper – Private Brand Vendor of the Year
Clearwater Paper, a premier supplier of private brand tissue, was honored for exceeding expectations with significant gains in both sales and margin. With a strong focus on operational efficiency, Clearwater Paper generated dramatic increases in distribution center service levels.

Frito-Lay – Consumables Vendor of the Year
Frito-Lay, a division of PepsiCo and a leading manufacturer of convenience snack foods, has supported all of Family Dollar’s top retail initiatives. As a strategic partner, they’ve enhanced the overall customer experience, generating increased sales and unit growth. Frito-Lay is consistently voted a top service vendor by store teams reflecting Frito-Lay’s dedication to supporting Family Dollar customers and the growth of the Family Dollar business.

Georgia-Pacific – Supply Chain Vendor of the Year
Georgia-Pacific, a leader in paper and one time use products, has made notable advancements in the past year through its work with Family Dollar’s Inventory Management team to improve distribution center inventory trend forecasting. This collaboration led to substantial gains in distribution center service levels and in-store stock levels.

Hanes Brands – Discretionary Vendor of the Year
Earlier this year, Hanes Brands became Family Dollar’s exclusive national brand supplier for the packaged basic apparel program. With a dedicated team of planners and analysts working together with Family Dollar, the apparel range has expanded considerably to meet the needs of Family Dollar’s diverse customer base, yielding double-digit sales growth.

SC Johnson – Marketing Vendor of the Year
SC Johnson, a leading manufacturer of high-quality products and iconic brands for home storage, air care, pest control and shoe care was recognized for its noteworthy efforts supporting Family Dollar’s marketing initiatives, including retail media, co-op, ecommerce and the relaunch of Smart Coupons.

Unilever – Cause Marketing Vendor of the Year
Unilever, one of the world’s largest consumer goods companies, went above and beyond through its support of Family Dollar’s youth advocacy initiative through the Boys and Girls Clubs of America, contributing nearly $250,000 to further support our combined efforts to Do More for the communities we serve.
